" Dear Mary Ann,
I just want to give you an update on what's been happening since my wife and I started wearing those beautiful and wonderful pendants you sent. We just can't get over your kindness in sending those pendants as gifts, along with your most interesting and enlightening manuscript. We were literally "stunned" when upon opening your package, we discovered you had also included free of charge, those two beautiful pendants, thank you again! Due to our having to live off my disability pension, they are something we could never have afforded. God Bless You! It has been two weeks now since they arrived and we only take them off when showering. Pam (my wife), has been having the best sleep she's had in years and is feeling so much fresher and relaxed. As for myself? WOW! For years now, I've been unable to walk without having severe pain shooting down my leg, with every step. Two operations did absolutely nothing to aleviate this condition and in fact, may even have made it worse! Strong "pain killers " would only take the "edge" off a little. Although I believe in God and His power to heal, I've never believed that an object could be "empowered" with anything, never mind some sort of "healing energy". I have never believed in "suggestion" either and in fact had a bad experience many years ago, with a dentist who claimed to have the ability to perform fillings and extractions, just by using hypnotism. Almost as soon as he started drilling, he hit a nerve and I was up and out of that chair so fast, he never knew what hit him! Therefore it was with the same doubt I put on the pendant, but it is after all a beautiful piece and I only decided to wear it for that reason. However, for the past week I have been able to walk without that damn pain shooting down my leg! Mary Ann, for me this would have been unbelievable had I heard of this happening to someone else, but to personally experience what to my wife and I is nothing short of a miracle, what more can I say, but "Thank you!" and "Praise God!". I am now reading your manuscript through a much "different" pair of eyes and Pam is now anxiously waiting for me to finish, so that she too can learn. "In the early 1980's I was told by doctors who had taken x-rays that I had a hiatal hernia  I used the techniques taught in the TEOH(tm) The Essence of Healing(tm) class to eliminate my pain and eventually the hernia.

"In retrospect, I wish to express a synopsis that transpired that would qualify me as a testimonial for divine healing.  Being an alcoholic for years, I walked against the light and was hit by a car and thrown through a gentlemen's window breaking all my bones as well as dislocating my shoulders.This placed me in an emergency ward after 22pts. of blood; a spleen removed coupled with my liver having to be straighten out. " I was a student of Mary Ann Thomas;s workshop on "The Essence of Healing" last July in1985.  I have been involved in healing for about ten years prior to this workshop.  I was curious to know what type of energy that was being channeled.   In talking with Mary on on the phone inquiring about the workshop that I had read the advertisement in the Thrifty Nickel paper.  She explained that it was necessary to let go of the different belief systems in order to simply be an instrument of healing by the power of God.  I'm not the healer, you're not the healer, but only God WHO IS!

After taking the workshop.  I found that I had heightened sense of awareness of healing flowing around me.  I felt energetic and felt I was loved unconditionally.  To me that was the key factor to help me understand what exactly healing of any sort really is---Love being manifested on the four levels of being.

With this understanding, I was able to share that Love with those whom I ministered to, with the brothers I lived with at the time, and with my friends.  The following testimonials are the exact words of the people whom I've treated.

In the workshop, Mary Ann gave some information about doing absent healing treatment at long distances.  With the permission of the person receiving the Divine Energy, begin to visualize the persons receiving the healing energy at that moment.  I feel exactly the same sensations in my hands whether I'm giving treatment with the person in front of me or at another location.  The sensations of tingling, warmth or coolness, sensations of energy being pulled into certain areas of the body are some of the regular sensations I feel with my hands when I give Divine Energy treatment.  At the same time, I constantly realize that this is the energy of God's healing love flowing into this person.  Love is a unique power.  It does not expect the person to be a saint or sinner.   In the eyes of Love, they are the same.  Neither one is better than the other.  The unconditional Love that God is--is within everyone already!  It is this that is being awakened when a person is receiving treatment, the ability to love one-self just as he or she is.  To let go of the self-imposed limitations we place upon ourselves is just one of the purposes of experiencing Love in these treatments.  In giving treatment by absent healing--that is sending energy to the person that is not in my presence, I inquire what is the problem.  I ask the person where he/she will be at a certain time.  I tell them what to do upon the agreed upon time.  I try to arrange the time as close to the immediate.  When the time comes, I proceed to send the Divine Energy to that person.  A  couple of testimonials I have gathered from the people I have sent energy at several times.

A woman shared with me her experience: (we had made an agreement in time to send and receive energy, but that time didn't work out when it came around....so later that evening she said  "I felt a tingling in the center of my forehead, then I felt a sense of a letting go in my neck and shoulders.  I thought about Tom and so I relaxed and centered my self..)  He called me up the following night and shared what had happened." Both of us were amazed at how coincidental everything unfolded as it did.  (Mary Ann shared the thought that, there are no coincidental's because everything is in divine order.)

I had permission to send energy to a priest friend of mine.  When I focused my attention upon the Divine Energy, I proceeded with the treatment.  I made a mental note to recall what certain areas of the body were pulling the energy that were stronger than the other areas of his being.  When I talked to him several days later, I shared with him my experience of the treatment.  He chuckled and said "you're exactly right!  The areas that you mentioned were areas where there are blockages is precisely where I'm experiencing pain.  Thank you for the love energy you continue to send my way.  I need it!"

During the time that I was finishing the workshop, I asked this same priest if he wanted a treatment.  He wanted to know more about it, so I told him about the Divine Energy concept and was able to give him a treatment for his back.  After laying hands on him and focusing  my awareness on God.  I began to experience a tremendous amount of heat in my hands.  After the treatment, I asked him what did he think of it.  He shared that "your hands felt like heating pads!  I feel much more relieved and refreshed."  Later that evening, I saw him again and asked about how he was feeling.  He said he doesn't feel hardly any pain in his lower back and in his shoulders.  "I feel real good!  Thanks again."

There are more testimonials I can share with you.  They are piling up to give witness to the greatest and humblest power of LOVE.  It is the key to our well being and wholeness.  The more we accept love for what it is, the deeper and holistic our healing will become.
